Fiancé(e) Petition: The Lewises reunited at last

Now Ken Lewis does not have to travel thousands of miles to be with his wife, Rhodora, thanks to USVisaFast.com who made living together in the U.S. possible.

LOVE knows no bounds, and this has been proven by many couples that have conquered barriers such as culture, religion, age or distance. The story of Ken Lewis and Rhodora Dayanghirang, whose two-year long distance love affair led to the altar, gives justice to the saying, “Love conquers all.”

When you look at them, it may seem that Ken and Rhodora are two different individuals; and there’s no denying that they are in some ways. The two come from opposite sides of the globe. Ken, an American from California, grew up with four seasons, a high-speed lifestyle, fast food, beaches and movies.

Rhodora, on the other hand, was born and raised in the laid-back tropical Philippines, where everyday living is defined by simple pleasures like walks in the park or by the bay, malling and frequent gatherings with family and friends.

Love brought them together one fine day in the heart of Manila, while Ken was on a golf tournament in February 2000. Rhodora, a ballroom dance instructor who was hanging out with some friends at Max’s Restaurant, caught the eye of Ken, who was then dining with some golf buddies.

Needless to say, love blossomed. The two spent almost everyday together until seven months later when Ken had to leave and go back home to the United States. “It was heartbreaking,” the couple says. For two years, Ken and Rhodora endured the agony of being miles away from each other, except for the times when he visited her in the Philippines.

Their situation has become unbearable that Ken decided to take the next best step—file a fiancée petition for Rhodora to bring her home with him. On the advise of a friend, Ken sought legal assistance from experienced and trusted immigration lawyer of USVisaFast.com .

It proved to be one of the most important decisions that Ken has made because it brought him and Rhodora together, for good, without complication and difficulty.

The Petition for Alien Fiancée was filed on February 2002. Five months later came the good news: the petition was approved. Rhodora flew to America and married Ken in August 2002.

“I am very pleased with the way they handled our case. They were very thorough in helping us with everything that we needed. We had no problems at all with the paperwork,” declares Ken.

The couple was even spared of the interview with an immigration officer, which means that all the questions that the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) may have had regarding the petition have been answered through the documents filed.

Highly satisfied with the case turnout, the Lewises again entrusted their Spousal Petition to the expert hands of USVisaFast.com. “For our interview for the spousal petition, they explained to us the whole process—what to expect and what to do in that process,” says Ken, who referred two of his friends to USVisaFast.com.

And on Thursday, the couple breezed through the immigration interview process, and finally got an approval that paved the way for Rhodora to be with her husband permanently here in the U.S. “If you have legal concerns, go to a legal expert like USVisaFast.com. It’s wiser to spend a little money and let somebody who knows the law handle the case than do it myself and make mistakes.”

It is vital to hire an attorney to deal with the BCIS, US Visa Services, especially now that the government is implementing new and tougher immigration laws. Simple procedures like applying for an extension may now need special approach that only a professional can do.

A lawyer can come up with the right words and crucial documentation to convince the authorities to act in favor of the applicant. With access to the latest feedback on amendments in immigration laws or changes in the interpretation of existing laws, lawyers are in a better position to deal with any type of case.
